The Search Visibility Checker gives a domain a search visibility score from 0 to 100. The score shows how much of the click potential of the domain's biggest keywords its Google rankings capture. A score of 100 means that the domain ranks first for every one of those keywords.
Enter your domain and up to two competitors. The checker reads the Google rankings of each domain from DataForSEO, a search data provider. For each domain, it shows the score, the number of ranking keywords and the keywords in the top 10. It also shows the estimated monthly clicks and what those clicks would cost as Google Ads.
The checker also gives an AI Overview sub-score. It takes your five keywords with the most expected clicks and runs a live Google search for each one. It then shows which of these searches have an AI Overview. It also shows whether that AI Overview cites you or your competitors.
No standard formula for search visibility exists. Each SEO tool uses its own. This page shows our formula in full, with the click-through rate that we use for each position. Every number comes from real ranking data. When a domain has no rankings in the country you pick, the checker tells you.
Rankings move all the time. Check again after a big site change, or ask for an email when your score changes.

Comparing scores from different tools: each tool uses its own formula, so compare scores from one tool only
Reading a high score as high traffic: a small site that ranks first for a few keywords can score high, so check the estimated clicks too
Checking only your own domain: the score means more next to the score of your closest competitors
Ignoring AI Overviews: a page in the top 3 can still lose clicks to an AI Overview that cites a competitor
Checking once: rankings move, so check the score again after each big site change
A search visibility checker is a tool that measures how visible a domain is in the organic results of Google. This checker turns the rankings of a domain into one score from 0 to 100. It also compares that score with up to two competitors.
We take the ranking keywords of the domain with the most monthly searches, up to 50. For each keyword, we multiply the monthly searches by the expected click-through rate at the position of the domain. We add up these clicks. Then we divide the total by the clicks that the domain would get at position 1 for every keyword, and multiply by 100. The click-through rates come from a Backlinko study of about 4 million Google results.
It depends on your market. As a rough guide, a score below 5 is low and a score from 5 to 15 is moderate. A score from 15 to 30 is strong, and a score above 30 is dominant. Compare your score with the scores of your closest competitors in the same country. That comparison tells you more than the number alone.
Yes. You do not need an account. We save the ranking data of each domain for 24 hours, so a repeat check is instant. To keep the tool free for everyone, each visitor can run 10 new checks per hour.
The rankings, keyword counts, estimated clicks and traffic value come from the database of Google results of DataForSEO, a search data provider. For the AI Overview sub-score, we run a live Google search for each keyword. We never estimate or simulate a ranking.
Google AI Overviews show above the organic results and take clicks from them. The sub-score looks at your five keywords with the most expected clicks. Of the keywords that show an AI Overview, it gives the share where the AI Overview cites your domain. When none of them shows an AI Overview, the checker tells you and gives no sub-score.
Each tool uses its own keyword set, click model and scale. Semrush calculates visibility over the keywords in a project that you track. Sistrix uses an index with no upper limit. Compare scores from one tool over time, and compare competitors inside the same tool.
Start with the keywords where you rank between position 4 and position 20. A move into the top 3 adds the most clicks. Improve those pages, link to them from related pages and keep their facts current. Rankwise finds the topics that your buyers search for and drafts the content to win them.
