Looker Studio Integration Overview
The Rankwise connector for Looker Studio loads your AI-visibility data into a report. It reads data from the Rankwise public API. It does not write anything to your Rankwise account.
What It Does
You add one data source per dataset. Each data source asks for a tracked domain and the dataset to load.

How It Works
- Create an API key in Rankwise under Settings, then API. The key is shown once.
- Add the Rankwise connector in Looker Studio and paste the key when it asks for credentials.
- Choose a domain and a dataset for each data source.
- Build charts from the fields, and blend them with your other Looker Studio sources if you want.
One API key reads one workspace. Agencies create one key per client workspace. If you revoke the key in Rankwise, every report that uses it stops loading data.
Blank Values
Rankwise shows "not measured" as a blank value. The connector does the same:
- A question that was never checked has a blank engine, status and cited flag.
- A check that returned an error leaves the cited fields blank.
- A search volume that is not known yet stays blank.
- A domain with no share-of-voice snapshot yet returns no rows.
Averages and sums in your charts skip these rows.
Limits
- The datasets show current values. There is no date range and no history. To chart a trend, schedule a Looker Studio data extract, which saves a copy at each refresh.
- There is no events dataset yet.
Privacy and Terms
The connector sends your API key only to tryrankwise.com and reads only the workspace that key belongs to. Read the privacy policy and the terms. For help, contact us.
